Happy New Year everyone! It seems like Christmas was many, many moons ago. Hopefully we all have taken down our Christmas trees and decorations by now. Putting together a 9 foot tree, not too bad. Finding a place to put a 9 foot artificial pine until next year, well that’s another story.
So here’s what we have been up to this winter season thus far… Before Christmas we headed off to my folks place. Jason and I had to get the dust off the Polaris, so we did some snowmobiling on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed a fantastic meal on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. Having gained a number of pounds, we decided to head off on Boxing Day up to the cabin near Tobin Lake. We had four relaxing days there sitting around the fireplace and going for walks. We also managed to give the kick sleds a go one of the days that we were there. “A kick sled is kind of like a dog sled except you need to use the momentum you get from kicking to power it – like a skateboard.” We headed back to Saskatoon for New Years Eve. Jason and I decided to splurge a little (OK a lot!) and got a suite at the Bessborough. We rang in the new year with a fantastic meal from Carvers. Delicious! So here we are, 2008 already. Just think, only a few more months till spring. Better get your skates or skis on and make the best of it!!

awe! grat blog – i love the pictures!! it was great seeing you guys the other night, we’ll have to get together and do some more guitar hero’ing – at least J and I are more on the same level! lol
