Jason’s Birthday Supper

Posted by on March 31, 2011

As many of you know, Tuesday was my birthday. And Kara had a big supper lined up but she was not feeling so hot so it was postponed until tonight.

Supper started with a spinach salad with strawberries, raspberries, mango and candied pecans. Dawn brought over something similar some weeks back that was great, maybe Kara will post a comment with the recipe.

Then it was time for Alaskan King Crab! And tons of it, we had over 3lbs steamed and ripe for the eating along side a pot of warm butter. It reminds me of Ray’s Restaurant in Seward,AK. Nowhere else have we been served crab like that. It seems all we get around here are tiny pencil sized legs.

It was pretty simple, but super good for an after work supper.

Mitch also got a treat today, he had a good time trotting back and forth on the deck. You can tell he can’t wait for spring either. Only then will he get his deck access back!

Best withes to Tim and Crystal who are waiting patiently for their most precious delivery – Maybe tomorrow?
